Seeking Funeral Director – Class 1

 

Humphrey Funeral Home in Toronto is seeking a Full-Time Funeral Director – Class 1 with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. This person must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills, have the ability to work within a team atmosphere, be self-motivated and have exceptional attention to detail.

Requirements for this position include, but not limited to, arranging, directing funerals, preparation room duties and being involved with the day-to-day requirements of the funeral home.

The successful candidate shall have the following qualifications:

Minimum 1 - 3 years experience as a funeral director/embalmer;

• Valid ON Driver’s License;

• Valid Ontario Funeral Director/Embalmer’s License;

• Available to work weekend rotation and “on call” duties according to posted schedule

• Strong computer skills;

• Commitment to excellence in customer service;

• Full understanding of all aspects of funeral service;

• Full commitment to company objectives and policies;

• Must be detail oriented and able to meet all deadlines efficiently;

• Flexibility and adaptability;

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written

and verbal
